On this page, usually every Friday, I will write about an interesting health-related news story and share my analysis and perspective.

A few times a week I will link to stories I find interesting on my Facebook page and on Twitter. Take a look at the right column of this page. At the top are buttons that take you to my Facebook page and Twitter feed. You can “like” my Facebook page or follow me on Twitter to keep up with links to health-related news I find interesting.

Below those buttons is a box that lets you subscribe to receive my weekly posts by email. That’s an easy way to get every post as it comes out without having to check the website.

Next is a box that lets you search the archives of my posts. I actually use the search box all the time myself to find links to past articles that I’ve read. Try searching for “prostate cancer” or “weight loss surgery” or “diabetes” or whatever subject you’d like to read more about.

At the bottom of every post (including this one) are buttons that let you share the post on your favorite social media sites. For example, if you use Facebook and find one of my posts particularly interesting, feel free to share it with your Facebook friends by using the Facebook button at the bottom of the post.

I hope you find my new website visually appealing and easy to use. Thanks for reading!
